Summer calls us to step outside into the world of nature and see God’s amazing creation. Summer gives a fresh new look at adventure. It inspires us to be courageous and follow the path less traveled. (ie, Robert Frost)
The hundred days of summer has begun. Take a walk, a hike to a waterfall, or just look around: what do you see in one step? Make it an adventure, a treasure hunt, or just a walk to praise our Lord and savior.
This year imagine or remember our forefathers like Washington who had to fight for liberty, our beliefs and our rights from God to build this Republic. Maybe build a fort or play with sticks and stones, cherish all they did for us as a nation. Celebrate the 250 th anniversary and be grateful enough to make wherever you are just a little bit better just one step better by attitude or effort. As a shepherd or a steward we’re going to try to make each step a fresh new possibility. Love and light to all.
If outside in the evening, memorize this note, “your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” and thank the stars or moon for sparkling.
