2026 February core

It’s an open winter in the valleys which we have not seen for decades and the antithesis for the southeast. The white tail deer 🦌 are losing their antlers early so that has been some happy, surprising treasures in the fields. More light even for a minute more each day is the same, but with lots more sunshine, so it’s easier to keep the sunshine in your hearts 💞. Which brings me to the word of the month:  core,   Our core is the center of our body and a place where we have our heart, where the Holy Spirit dwells.    I imagine a keyhole place in our hearts that only Jesus can fill so keep finding Him in His word. His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 

And we keep walking, running, skiing, or just exercising for your core will help you here on earth to stay active and healthy. Lots to celebrate this month, Super Bowl 8th, st valentine 💘 14th, birthdays, presidents and all, pancake supper 17th, shepherding, and more. It’s God’s spirit working in us to help us rise up and renew each and every morning. So here’s to keeping sunshine ☀️ in your heart.
