September 2025 soul
It’s September! It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming in summer. Agriculture still dominates in Montana and we had an early spring and early hay crop as well. Fall and September bring back the work in the barn, filling it with hay and cleaning out the cobwebs from the summer months The shadows are a bit longer and the days a bit shorter. A more quiet reflective time is coming, the sun is lower and the shadows of the trees are stretching slightly longer than the day before. Reminds me of this verse; “He who dwells in the shelter of the most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty”. psalm91
Imagine living so close to heaven that God and his shadow always covers you. Or imagine walking through the gates of heaven, feeling a rush of cool air and the trees blowing with the breeze bringing you joy.
Okay back to real life now. Calendar for September:
7 Full Harvest moon
And Cherishing Granparents Day
11 patriots day
17. Constitution day
22 autumnal equinox
I Lean upon the windowsill in the morning. I gaze upon the mountains and smile. This time of year I enjoy the changing light, shadows, colors, and balance my soul again by giving thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior. Then go out and meet the day. I hope all is well with your soul as well.
