A Wintery April

A Wintery April 2018

  Record-setting snow and temperatures blanket the ground of Montana.  While I watch it snow and shovel daily I contemplate warmer weather; yet the snow is fun to ride the horses through and ski when I can get to the big hills.  Easter was filled with snow, so I prayed for the newborn calves.   Animals are amazing.

Two full moons in March as well as January, 1st and blue on the 31st.  Easter falls on April fool's Day and with spring birthdays, there should be a lot of laughter for all.

Montana still has winter, but the days are getting a little bit, tiny bit longer, so any sunshine brightens our days.  The cows begin to calve, at the end of January, on my Birthday, which is special, which in turn brings about a 24/7 schedule of watching cows.

       This little buck made it through hunting season.  The wind is back and blowing in the spirit of December.  Thanksgiving brought Skiing and riding with friends, which makes us very grateful for all the good times.
